Connecting rod bolts are mainly used in the diesel engine industry. It is an important bolt that connects the big end bearing seat of the connecting rod and the bearing cap to make it integrated.
The head of the connecting rod bolt is usually processed with a positioning plane or a protrusion so that it can be fitted with the bearing support surface during installation. The diameter of the bolt shank located at each subdivision plane of the bearing is larger so that it can be positioned with the bolt hole during assembly. The diameter of the shank portion of the remaining bolts is smaller than the diameter of the bolt hole, and the length is longer to reduce the load on the threaded portion when subjected to bending and impact loads. The threaded part adopts the high-precision fine thread.
